A lot of people play the Royal Albert Hall Live version or the SRV version, missing the (IMO) more beautiful original studio version. I did my best to show how Jimi did it. Hope it helps in learning to play it. Enjoy!

Absolutely brilliant! Will be watching this is a lot. Currently learning SRV's version too. Hope to one day play a mix of the too.Thanks for sharing this vid, you make it look so easy (i know it's not!).Quick question, do you fret the bass notes with your thumb like Jimi? A technique I've never been able to do, want to know if I can get it to sound good without that.

Hey it's great playing, but I do NOT know why you go out of the way to BRAG the most accurate on YOU TUBE when you are only demonstrating and not teaching! Don't get me wrong...outstanding ability ....BUT I'll take the guy slowing it down and showing us how to play even if its less accurate..
