i remember as a little boy hearing this song and feeling sorry for the "little christmas tree" wishing i had the money to buy it. Today it brought me right back to my child hood day when it pop back into my memory, I think i will play it lots this christmas ,it was a beautiful time of my life.

@P0tz14 -- thats why i shared the story, for it seemed like u didnt know what it meant ;) it's plain and simple.. the letter X in exchange for the spelled out name Christ still means the same: CHRIST, our Messiah ;) nothing wrong with putting X instead of Christ. It is the same meaning

The Christian MONKS AND SCHOLARS were knowledgeable of the Greek letter X - Chi or Khi - which is the first letter in the Greek word "Christos or Kristos" (Greek: CristoV). The Greek and Hebrew word "Christos" comes out "Mesiah" and means the same thing: THE ANOINTED ONE. -- MERRY X'MAS!

December 25 is not the true date of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ..., Actually St. Nicholas commemorates this day for children., having gifts, to remember the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. December 25, for the pagans, is the feast of their lord Sun, but for us, this is the day to commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ.., Just some clarifications.., ^^
