Just a few weeks ago on my flight on Emirates to Dubai, i came actoss to this concert on their flight entertainment system and glad i watched it. This is real music not those stupid pop, rap songs. The guy has an earthly sound and i get goose bumps everytime i hear him. I dont care whether he Jewish, Arab, etc what matters the most is his voice and it is gorgeous...

I could play this over and over again. Congrats on winning your award for this Album Lior. A person doesn't need to know the language to feel the music.

Love it - a great cultural mix, musically. Despite others feeling it was not suited, as an introduction to this style for the unfamiliar, it was in a word, captivating.

Dissonance is a style that was incorporated into the orchestral accompaniment. Many people truly adore this, however in a contemporary sense it is harshly judged. As an avid musician I loved the accompaniment. This is a song of compassion, and these techniques are used to allude to suffering. It captured the true sense and meaning of the music perfectly.

How exquisite is this and the whole Compassion CD. With the current troubles in the Middle East at the moment I go to this for solace

awful orchestration, so mismatched that it must be attributed to idiocy or ignorance or both.

Chills! Closing my eyes and listening, I am brought to a higher level. Thank you, Lior! Is it true you were born in Rishon L'Zion? So was my cousin!

I love your voice, but the style used in the background orchestra totally did not suit. Too western, ruined the Hebrew/Arabic tones in the song. Ideal solution: work with Composer Armand Amar.
