sorry I know i'm late a fuck lmao. but chester can still scream great, you can hear it in the songs they make. and not to mention he scream they way he use to on a couple of resent live preformances. So he can still scream, he just chooses not to. and the jay z thing was jay z's idea, LP went along with it and that ep sold extremely well. Yes they did go soft, they wanted to change their music is great. But LP still gots is, listen to Living Things if u haven't already

hahaha...chester screams better than he ever did now ;) and the live shows are perfect now! they have earned enough experience to be the best band in the world! and the live shows in the earlier years (1998-2002) weren't really good and chester voice wasnt't as good as it is now..

How did they sell out? Hybrid Theory was one of the best selling albums of the decade. Had they stuck to that formula, they would have been selling out. Instead, they experimented and reinvented themselves.

I think because of the fact that chester is not as young as he was in HT and Meteora, he just doesnt have the stamina to scream all the songs with screams to his best. Like if you listen to his One Step Closer live now a days he can still scream
