I much prefer the Vypyr lineup. IMO, the Vypyr 15 absolutely crushes the Spider IV in terms of versatility and sound quality.9 years ago

The insane channel is great. Just DO NOT use all the gain. It is a lot more percussive and saturated than the Metal Channel. The Metal Channel is wayyyy too scooped. This is how Ola made it sound so good. The Insane Channel sounds a lot like tube. The Metal Channel sound digital. This is just MY opinion.9 years ago

i just got this amp and absolutely love it. For all you people complaining that it doesn't sound good, quit comparing it to your half stacks. This amp is amazing for what it's meant for. Beginners and people like me who want something light to carry around, not give two fucks about abusing it since it was 100 bucks. you won't find a better sounding amp for this cheap. awesome practice amp.9 years ago
