Wonderful performance by Linda. Is this the punishment convicted felons deserve?

Whew, that was a dream come true performance. Those inmates must have really been living a deeply bittersweet moment.

Gonna love her music, in fact that I'm hard of hearing and listening to her singing had make me feel so mellow as always. She's one of my fave. ♥

Joey Cubbage . . . The Stone Poneys did not become the Eagles. Different musicians altogether. The Eagles began in early 1971, when Linda Ronstadt and then-manager John Boylan recruited session musicians Glenn Frey and Don Henley. Henley had moved to Los Angeles from Texas with his band Shiloh (produced by Kenny Rogers),[5] and Frey had come from Michigan and formed Longbranch Pennywhistle; they had met in 1970 at The Troubadour in Los Angeles and became acquainted through their mutual record label, Amos Records. Randy Meisner, who had been working with Ricky Nelson's backing band, the Stone Canyon Band, and Bernie Leadon, a veteran of the Flying Burrito Brothers, joined Ronstadt's group of performers for her summer tour promoting the Silk Purse album. The original Eagles played live together only once, backing Ronstadt for a July concert at Disneyland

That, I believe, is the great Bob Warford taking the lead solo on the B-bender.

I enjoy watching the audiences in these old t.v. shows. Here Linda is, with a smoking band, burning up the song, and everyone is the audience are sitting likes stones, including one guy with his hand oh, so intellectually on his chin, as if he's evaluating her for some grade in a music course. There used to be a video floating around of The Rascals and Barbara McNair just tearing down the house doing "People Got To Be Free" and the t.v. studio audience might as well have been at a funeral.

Love Ronstadt....but the only really stupid thing she did was date Gov. Moonbeam (a true putz).

Good love in taste is entirely seperate from like a good taste in wine. The most expensive wine is cheap compared to true love.
