I grew up watching Mary Poppins; I used to watch it almost once a week until about when I was 10 years old.Now, as an adult, I saw Saving Mr. Banks, and understanding everything hit me very, very hard, along with the emotions of reliving old memories. People get such a sense of superiority about movies. If Saving Mr Banks brings a new audience to Mary Poppins, then I'm glad more people get to enjoy it. For me personally, it reminded me how much I loved this movie and made me want to watch it again immediately. So just shut up about how you're better than other people because you already liked this movie before that movie came out, nobody gives a fuck.
