Crazy Horse is the band that kept Neil connected to a bunch of people that just love rock and roll , thank you for this .

Schade. Wenigstens hab ich heute ein Auto.

I'm looking around online and it doesnt show a Heidelberg show, but I swear I saw them there. Maybe it was Hamburg. Been awhile so who knows.

I think I was at the Heidelberg show. The one I went to started out with just Neil doing acoustic stuff , with a half circle of acoustic guitars behind him and a big black grand piano. We were front row center next to the bouncers and some railing to keep people off the stage. We tried to pass a joint to Neil.

@0481870 No problem. I just checked it myself too :) There IS a small mistake though, since the show was not really in Heidelberg but in Eppelheim, but that's a suburb of Heidelberg, so it's more or less the same :) Cheers!

Sorry, Ulfinho13 ... I was wrong. This was from March 76. The Still's-Young Tour started at Pine Knob near Detroit June 23rd and the Crazy Horse Tour resumed Nov 1st. I saw the Detroit show and he had cut his hair short. Got me all confused!

... I gotta go to Sugarmountain and check out the tour dates ... something isn't right here .....

These can't be correct photo's from that tour because Neil had cut his hair short during the Still's-Young Tour just prior to going on the road with the 'Horse' ........

This was shortly after Neil told Still's to "Eat a Peach" and split from the Still's - Young Tour. He regrouped and hit the road with Crazy Horse, forcing Still's to fulfill the remainder of the show date's as a solo act in smaller clubs.

Cologne is inferior and I think incomplete but contains No One Seems To Know, Hamburg is I think okay but contains a one off Last Trip To Tulsa for Crazy Horse (not much better or worse than the Stray Gators version IMO, though). I just noticed that you wrote that Let It Shine was an unreleased song. You must be refering to the particular version(live with Crazy Horse), as Let It Shine (in the Stills/Young Version) is of course a released song. Even rarer is a solo acoustic version from Japan.

@MilanF I've only heard and Offenbach and Heidelberg so far, and I agree that the Heidelberg show is the better sounding one. Cheers!

Full version of this show also includes Sad Movies and an ultra rare (to this tour at least) Barstool Blues as encore. Probably the best sounding show from the first german "tour"(4 dates). Thanks for posting!
