How delightful to see loving memories from many different parts of our world. Makes me smile, in addition to smiling at the happiness and light of the song and the singing. Thanks for posting!!!

When I was a child this wasn't labled "country" it just came on the "regular radio stations" everybody listened to.( In Los Angeles) KMPC etc.Dick Whittinghill and the rest of DJ"s. I still remember singing harmony with mom. Thanks

Thanks - I listen to this on an old 78 when I lived in Canada before 1956. Think I probably wore it out. Lovely memories

This nostalgic melody makes me smile. It also convinces me that good songs never lose their beauty no matter how old they are. Mary Ford was as amazing as her partner Les Paul. I truly miss them; their legend will keep glittering. Thanks for this clip.

Mary Ford was at her prime when she did this, what a woman, what a voice.

That is the America of today vs OUR America! Today people who like music like this are a minority. Now, it's all that jungle jive rap crap!

Thanks for the beautiful sharing. I remember being a little, tiny girl in the early 1950s and being able to hear the words in most of the really, really OLD music and singing along with my siblings...like this little musical gem. I enjoy a variety of music, but I always smile when I hear songs like this that don't get played on the radio anymore...or at least not where I live.

We sang these songs in the car on our way to Boston every summer. Dad driving the Pontiac, Mom and he and the kids singing along. No video games, no a/c, just singing for 450 miles. WOW!
