Wow! What a voice! Les Paul's guitar playing is unquestionable, but Mary Ford had such a beautiful voice! So underrated, i think. Her name doesn't crop up anywhere near enough as it should (as this song proves). She has (on this track, at least) a quality and timbre that is very similar to the amazing Karen Carpenter. And that, ppl, ain't no bad thing. I only heard this for the first time today, and i just think it's wonderful. RIP Mary & RIP Lester... Superb! \m/12 years ago
