This movie and soundtrack is now thirty years old. I know I fell in love with this movie, Tom Cruise, had been in love with David Gilmore (do you people know how beautiful he was) with Pink Floyd, Bryan Ferry, Roxy Music, and dancing in my blank apartment with my first baby to these sounds, to Bryan Ferry asking me if my love was strong enough to he and Kate Bush on Hounds of Love telling me get up that hill and don't give up. I hope people can find something entertaining from these mellinia years to dress up and have parties about...very doubtful currently we seem to only be able to recycle eras, put a spin on it then rename it and boy ah you have an original. I must say so love this. and legend. I was and still am in love with the beauty of this movie. Tim curry I have loved since Rocky horror picture show. he is a dynamic and seriously sexy actor.Well except for "IT".. but he brings it.. You ever seen a sexier devil?

In the 80's I came home after a long night of looking for empty sex. The end of this song came on late night T.V. when I came in the door and some one left the T.V. on. I cried in my soul; "PLEASE God, IS your love strong enough???" I never looked back because it was.

Funny a poster mentioned here, they should've "grown-up" in the 80's -I did and it had it's ups & downs of course ... But my friends and I, tossed an "80's Party" in a huge loft in SOHO NYC circa 2002 ... Although none of us were "Celeb" types, it was written up in all the local papers - Atari Games & Breakfast Club replays on the Wall and Great Tunes (and the hair :-))  ... How could you go wrong ??

That Gilmour solo is the best thing I've ever heard from him, subjectively speaking. It sums up in a few notes everything about his guitar playing that I personally love. I only wish it were a bit longer.
