They just released it remastered for the world to hear. I'm glad they did. I find it grating to hear and actually don't like it but it's great to have another early Zep release. This is going to sound like a slam but it's not... it shows they really were sort of a cover band in the beginning. Apparently this song was ahem, "inspired" by Sonny Boy Williamson’s “Sugar Mama Blues.” At least this time they didn't copyright the other guy's song without acknowledgement. Nonetheless, they had a characteristic sound they'd developed at this early stage. They were basically a blues cover band in the beginning but they did have something special no one else did.

Sugar Mama is an old blues standard, I think this is just Zeppelin's take on that.
