i think the male vocals need to take a step back in the current leaves stuff. its too generic to have shouty male choruses. on Lovelorn they had the perfect balance. alexander should leave his vocals in atrocity.

Lol almost funny commens my Opethian fellow, but I fail to see your issue with Liv or her (Leave's) eyes. The whole theme of this band is mostly old nordic and viking tradition and folklore, sung and played on each song in mostly mellow symphonic metal. This was quite intended and outspoken even by her husband (also a bandmember), who said that they decided this even before approaching Liv to take the "muse" role. I get the beauty and point of this band much more than other ever so popular ones.

Useless info (especially if you live outside the UK possibly) but they used to sell Strawberry Cheese in Tescos. Seriously I bought some once and it actually tasted rather nice, it was sweet and really creamy and really didn't taste like you would imagine normal cheese to ever taste like.
