So is no one gonna say anything how Lauren sings the original version that says "If the FATES allow"? I've noticed my local Christian radio stations play Lauren's version during the day then they play at night time the Hannah Kerr version where she says "If the LORD allows". The Fates have nothing to do with Christian Theology. Just sayin'.

Oh the truth that we never know if this may be our last season, how can we know if we will be living in the past. But dear friend, let your heart be light. Whatever the future brings, praying with a hope that our troubles be out of sight. This song really shows us the message of the memories and relationships of those who has that true love and that faithfulness within which warms one from the inside. Even if we are torn apart because of the fading moments. Listening to Lauren Daigle perform this song instilled upon me the remembrance of the memories of my faithful friends who are dear to me, oh how I cry out that we gather near forever more through the years. For there are memories that time does not erase.Lauren Daigle uses her abilities to capture the celebration of present happiness, and an anticipation of a better future while still holding on to the sweet memories of our past in this beloved Christmas time Classic. A song which creates an atmosphere that shows us that this season will always have those moments where they become sentimental, with remembrance of people who will always be missed in life if this were their last moments together this season.Lauren has that down to earth voice which really gives this song what it needs to truly speak its message of the time we have been given to create memories and cherish old and new relationships which we shall hold close to our hearts. Listening to her moved me to see the truth that nothing is  lost to us as long as we remember it.

Perfection!  Judy Garland's version in "Meet Me In St. Louis" is hard to beat (It's a favorite movie of mine) but this is a contender for sure! Judy would approve, I know it!

So many people remarked as if this was a religious song. It's not. It's just a super good holiday song with best wishes for everyone. the "faithful" friends are not religious friends. It means loyal friends. There's not a bit of religion in this song. Thank god. (Should all singers be placed as ornaments on a tree, she would be the shining star at the top).
