Heard this the other night at the Edinburgh show and haven't stopped listening to it since!

Wonderful. Gorgeous full sound. I have yet to see them live.

I want badly to sing this song but know I probably couldn't do justice to the original. Without meaning to sound cruel or narrowminded, I feel Lau has missed the point of the original and maybe could have changed it more, in order to not sound as rushed and disjointed. Again, not meaning to be rude.

i'd say getting boo-ed at indie nights bodes very well for you... ;-)

After seeing this performed whilst I was sitting in the second row at the Apex, seeing the whites of their eyes, this has moved in to my top five Lau tracks

Thanks a lot Alastair. Yes I can see it clearly at 3:22. Very interesting, must get myself one.

If you look closely you'll see Kris is using a partial capo that covers the A, D, & G strings at the 2nd fret. The song is in Em. He's playing a Dm shape but because of the capo he gets an Em and the open E string gives a similar to effect to having played uncapo-ed in drop-D.

@przemyslawlipiec Don't see why its impossible as long as you have a dropped "D". Check for other Kris Drever videos of Midnight Feast

I would like to declare that it's technically impossible to play what guitar plays from 02:01 to 02:19 :-D I adore this version btw
