This song takes me back to a crazy era of my life.think It was the end of the 90s and I was doing temp jobs trying to make ends to get an mpc2000XL to make beats with. All I really wanted to be was a poet .I had/still have a thing for Bohemian/coffee shop/art loving women.True story I had been to poetry spots and have great times kicking It with those type of women.I'd always kept a composition pad jotting shit down and going over stuff with hopes of reading It at an open Mic. My friend at the time turned me on to this track telling me to find a connection with the flow and delivery of this dude with hopes of milking my writing skills Into rap songs. Never was In my heart, just made me appreciate artists from Quantum records. Longstory short, I still write, don't vibe with dude anymore, still have my love and appreciation for those type of females though.
