Guitar: 2012 Smitty Custom Guitars "Bluey" Brett Kingman Signature Model. Built in the Netherlands by Eric Smid, 'Bluey' is a one piece Swamp Ash body, one piece quartersawn Maple neck, Amber Holy 50's pickups (Germany), Sperzel tuners and Gotoh vintage bridge. I love it!

Besides the wattage difference , is the Lionhart any different than the Laney VC 30 ?Would you say these amps are transparent or color the guitar signal ?

I hope Laney never strays from that blue Tolex look on their Lionhearts. Great demo! Wish they had them in the big box guitar stores here in the US to demo... would love to hear it up loud. My bandmate has Fender Twin's and Marshall's and the 20W Laney has trouble competing (volume-wise).

Nice demo as always.Can you get Robin Trower type tones out of amp and Hendrix ? Or would a Marshall be best best for this.What difference in tone compared to Marshall tone .I have always wanted to get a Marshall but always have bad luck with them what is a for classic rock like Hendrix and Trower? WOW! I've never seen a 50 watt Class A with 5 EL-34 Power tubes. I bet this bad boy is LOUD :-) Brett, you need to do a demo on the Laney "Iommi" Head & Cab :-)
