I have still yet to find a Russian who wouldn't know this song (at least here in Latvia), funny knowing that Laima is Latvian, but most Latvians that do not listen to Russian music wouldn't know that she sings this song...I myself being Latvian knew the melody of this song, but never knew it was Laima who sang it, until an Armenian guy told me.
