elgrovez13 hit the nail on the head. These top___lists are just popularity contests. If anybody cared to listen to Darrell Abbott, Tommy Bolin, Rick Derringer and Richie Blackmore there would be now such thing as an "all-time guitar players list."

Gosh they sounded so much like Cream. Power Trios, where have they all gone?

well no offence but that is garbage. just listen or better yet watch MTV Unplugged. Anyone who thin Clapton and acoutic don't mix is a) totally misunderstanding Clapton's love of traditional blues and b) unaware of how unbelievably broad Clapton's interests and skills really are. BB King says Clapton is the best living blues guitarist. That's enough for me and it should be for you too. Compliments don't come any better than that.

T dot O, yeah it's the last one - Toronto, Ontario. Things haven't changed in a year's time. Same over-played songs vs. those I yearn to hear on the same station that wouldn't play any music at all if they thought they could get away with it. Even though I have an extensive collection of good stuff, I still appreciate hearing whatever I can hear being played on air. There's something about the randomness of songs and not knowing what might be played next that I prefer.

@52rockme722 T.O. is where? Toledo, Ohio? Tulsa, OK? Toronto, Ont.?...Regardless, I couldn't agree with you more. No Jeff Beck, No Jimi Hendrix, No Kinks, hardly even hear the Beatles anymore! i think I'd have a heart attack if they played something from the old Fleetwood Mac, or Jethro Tull.

Beck was listed as 14th greatest guitarist of all time in the Rolling Stone list. I know that lists like that are pure bs based on popularity and not actual talent or influence, but that's so criminal to put beck out of the top 3 let alone top 10. Let's see half the guys on the top 10 play this.

Superb! A most welcome slice of mid-70s power-trio classic rock!

Carmine had that 70's open single headed drum sound down pat! This version kills! Thanks for posting it.

Bogart & Appice are among the the greatest rhythm sections ever. That Carmine can play drums like that while singing amazes me. Commercial radio won't play this stuff because the target audience includes females who would complain "Why is there so little singing?"
