I never got why all Girl bands looked like drug users and all trashy in the face. Lita Ford and Doro Pesch never looked like that, and both of them were harder in terms of music. Well Doro at least, Lita wasn't really metal. But I'm assuming L7 wanted a more "punk" image so their music and style had a blend of that with grunge fused together.

i was just explaining that to some other schmuck. i don't think even L7 themselves would describe themselves as "grunge". If they had to be pigeon-holed into a label, i think it would be more along the lines of sexy-stonery-punky-metal.
