This stuff is good, but I still love their older more crusty sound aka 110 degree heat index EP, and the split with Cream Abdul Babar circa 2003/2004ish.... Laura has a sick screamy voice back then.... not so much anymore.

@rentavideo412..labels can be annoying, but they are necessary, especially for people who enjoy a lot of different styles. . Heavy Metal is so diverse with it's styles and if you read or someone tells you about a particular band and says, this band has this certain sound or that certain sound or style, i think it's easier at least for me to get an idea of what i'm in for. I'll give any metal/rock band a chance sometimes more than once..for instance people kept telling me about a band called August Burns Red & how awesome they are...so i tried them & they sound like the other 5000 deathcore bands...generic & boring. Another band everyone seems to have on their list as a good album this year was from Protest The Hero...i can't get into them either..music is some what tolerable, but that guys vocals are beyond annoying

Update: I made this comment a year ago and since then I've found a shit-ton more bands, from more original sludge metal like NOOTHGRUSH, GRIEF, EYEHATEGOD and NEUROSIS but also more awesome modern stuff like PYRES, BLACK SLEEP OF KALI, YOB, PRIMITIVE MAN, NIGHTSLUG, SLUGDGE, BISON, SNAILKING and BLACK COBRA. But I've also fallen in love with some epic Technical Death Metal like AYIN, KONKEROR and RIVERS OF NIHIL. All great bands (Check 'em out!): imgur . com / a / O5DOD#0
