'A Loon' comes from the 'Strings' EP of 1994, and also featured on 4AD's Mail Order only video collection which came out in 2001. The original 'A Loon' was on Kristin's 'Hips and Makers' album - this is a rework with strings.

Am I the only one who thinks "Strings" would've made more sense if Kristin had been playing guitar on it, or even if the arrangements were built around her original master takes, like a remix album with musical credibility? This track aside, and it might just be the production or my ear, it's always sounded to me as if her vocals were sort of pasted on and she just sounds lost without her instrument.
