The song is on Kris's album Third World Warrior (1990) with so meaningful and probably political songs that some people didn't (maybe still don't?) like. But I do- because they showed that Kris was caring about what was happening around... Some people never do.

Kris's performance is from a concert at the Boulder Theatre in 1989, which was filmed and added by some touching montage footage to several of the songs, as well as some short interview parts in which Kris talks about his evolution from Vietnam volunteer to disillusioned patriot, about freedom and William Blake, to make an impressive documentary, which is available on dvd.
