Kris has always been my hero when it came to telling the truth through poetry. I've been listening for nigh over 40 years now. And do you know, when I think back to the 1980's and how his music was censored under a different presidency (Repossessed is a great album, btw), it must be rather satisfying for him to be broadcasting from the White House. It is for me anyway!

Kris and the other two were doing a workshop there... it was about an hour. This was the only song Kris sang. Later he sang with Darious Rucker Pancho and Lefty, which is alos on YT, and Me and Bobby McGee with everyone as the final song at the performance - it's also on YT. When I uploaded the latter one, it got blocked worldwide, but as you can see, it's still there with another channel... YT mystery... I can see both vids as featured vids on this video here -but I don't know if that varies...
