Barely this year, tommy earned my respect. I met ace and he couldn't spell my fucking name. He botched it. He's fried. The dude WAS talented. But he's fried now. On his new album, he's just playing the only thing he can play.

+Charles Landers I've got to agree with you there. I've been a fan of KISS since the year 2000 began. And I've stuck with the band since. Yes I prefer the Eric Carr, Bruce Kulick, Gene, and Paul KISS the best. But I fucking love Eric and Tommy as well. In fact I saw KISS live the first time in 2012 in Minnesota. And Eric and Tommy put together a kick ass show for me. And their solos were great.I'm so fed up with these KISS fans saying bad things about Eric and Tommy because they love Ace and Peter. I've actually lost all respect for Peter since I read his autobiography. But I still love Ace. KISS will always be KISS. With or without Ace and Peter.

It's scripted but its still fun. thats really what this band is about... celebrating good times, making sure the fans have fun, and writing music that is fun. sure its not the deepest lyrics, sure it doesn't have as much music theory merit as other bands' stuff, but i wouldn't have it any other way. simple, fun, fan-centered.and i dont believe they're just out there for the $. if you were gene or paul and the band had been your life for 40 years and been the thing you dreamed of doing since seeing the beatles on ed sullivan, wouldnt you go till you just cant anymore?
