I've noticed Goon Moon's "Apartment 31" has a melody similar to Coda: Marine 475. I wonder if this is mere coincidence?

The initial versions of these cuts were released on the "Vroom" E.P. in April '94 with the double trio format split into two and panned hard left/right channels in the stereo field. Kurt Cobain had "committed suicide" a coupla weeks earlier and that devastating event cast a pall on my listening experience of this. Ultimately, it did help me partially reconcile our loss of that wonderful genius, whom, like Crimson, has helped me to grow in unquantifiable ways.
