i think the sloppy sound of this, catches a very strange atmosphere here, perhaps the use of those chorus or the fact that we have 6 players for a very tight original composition and the Nst. To me it sounds like an alien spaceship

As a huge KC fan... this is a terrible recording, pretty astonished this take got used on their DVD... I get that they are burning through this much faster than the studio recording, but all of the parts are still very playable at this tempo in standard tuning. Why is Fripp using NST here???
