Wetton vs Lake singing, both good but different mood. Also Lake´s voice is still pure as a he sings rock, Wetton´s get distorted but fits the Cross era KC perfectly.

Incorrect - Lake did all the vocals on the album except 'Cadence and Cascade' - this is attested to by Robert Fripp on the King Crimson Website.

Bands don't play like that anymore, sadly...all pomp, preen and profile...seems to me to be so at least.

Funny hearing this so many years later... The main riff is like 'Come Together' by the Beatles. This - like some earlier Yes stuff I'm listening to at the moment - is yet another reminder of how creative late 60s/early-to-mid 70 bands were, especially the British ones, maybe because unlike their American counterparts they often focused on moving music forward rather than attempting to 'preserve' their more traditional jazz, blues or rock 'n' roll roots. Though ironically they were USA-inspired.

John Wetton (bass/vocals), Fripp (guitar/mellotron), David Cross (violin/mellotron), and Bill Bruford (beating the hell out of his drumz). Geezus, bands don't play like this anymore.

Not only two. He did Peace a beginning, Pictures of a city, In the Wake of Poseidon, and Peace an end. Thats four.

But there´s a thing, Greg Lake recorded his voice only in 2 songs in this Poseidon album. But not Catfood.

I prefer the studio version. Where´s the "crackling" piano? But this voice is amazing too.

Someone knows if the sheet is on the net?

@DavidKinner also notice how main guitar riff of easy money (the very beginning) is almost identical to come together keyboard solo

I prefer the studio version, I just love Greg Lake's voice. But this version isn't bad, not at all. Thanks for uploading, guy.

I prefer this to the studio version... Wetton makes the song his own.

@spenckey Yea, definitely. I mean I am all for the new versions of old songs, but not when it is put off to be a new song, but it sounds almost exactly the same, and Fripp calls it something different, but he hasn't seemed to do that for a while except his updated version of Fracture to FraKctured.
