I heard their song "Shot to Kill" playing in a video a Kiwi made of his scratch Les Paul build from a single piece of mahogany ... and I thought it was a Paul Weller tune. I don't think sounding like Paul is a bad thing but, yeah, I was convinced it *was* the Modfather.

I got the Suicide Dogs album, great songs and a lot more honest. I get bands have to move on, maybe I'm disappointed the direction they've taken, just my opinion. Good luck to them.

for the record, these guys arent from "straya". they are kiwis, just because a kiwi band goes to australia to record an album does not make them australian. I forsee yet another brilliant piece of kiwiana being claimed by the sore losers over the ditch.

Saw them in ak last night, more a show than a gig. When the geezer waved his guitar over his head Sprnigsteen style, I thought what are you like boy, Write better songs, don't pose, sorry, that's .how it looked to me. You'd make a great pop group, but less Pluko in the hair, and more honesty. It all looks a bit contrived. (that means copy stuff). I love rock & roll, but if you want to be a glorified pub band from 'straya', that's what you are, not cool !
