Crazy this was the title track to the movie Ice Cube/Ving Rhames movie. You would think Cube or one someone from his flock(WC,Mack 10,Kay Dee,Comrades,Kausion) would have dibs on it. Enigma is such a very underrated album. 95' and 96' were my favourite Def Squad years, Sermon,Redman and Murray all had dope albums.

@frickinfrak You know how you can really tell if it's Dilla, read the album credits. All ya need to find is if it says "J Yancey"(which it does). Also Dilla's discog on Stones Throw says all the work J officially has done(including stuff that was discredited). That's how ya do ya research.

@ShakaDelic716 Yeah but if you see "J. Yancey" in the credit and only J Yancey then it's Dilla. Yes the Ummah was a team but most of their work was separate between Tip,Sha and Dilla. I know what you mean tho, there are cats who think he did work on "Midnight Marauders". Times are different cause this era looks at CDs,cassettes and vinyl(with actual prod. credits) as a rare artifact.

Every time I think of this song, it reminds me of waking up to the harsh realities of life, there comes a soul of a wise figure telling me "the struggle is never over . you must carry on".
