Hi Phil, Keep it safe, it's a classic. Do you have the technology to upload the complete album? Would love that.......

if you haven't heard the rest of this album - check it out - smooth - deceptively simple - they can write and play so many types of music and have spanned decadessuccessfully - wish they (or either) would play Scotland more - tempted to go to Cheltenham ??!

Have the LP of this; played numerous times, but not of late. Nice to hear this track again.

G & L albums always had top-notch opening tracks and this one from "The Last Cowboy" was no exception. Lovely understated playing by Jimmy Jewell (is that a sax or a clarinet?) and Billy Livesey (piano) as well as Benny's always superb bass. Also a prime example of how their songs are often more complex than you'd suppose at first hearing - this one really is infernally difficult to sing correctly! I for one would never dare to attempt it at a karaoke session.
