That's fine, she's a human being and can do what she wants, which was pursue the madona route like she herself stated. Thing is it's not music anymore nor is it dance. Its a multiformat performance.I, as a listener, don't listen to musicians to watch them dance. I want to see a performance they give everything they got-their, soul their heart, their abilities, everything, THROW IT ALL IN THERE and give the best performance they can, because music in the communication of feelings. When you add dance and all that "big sound" crap, you can't ever achieve a performance anywhere near the stature of a small show like this video portrays.Music takes everything you can possibly give, just like if I were to see a dancer, there performance wouldn't be half as amazing if they attempted to sing while doing it. I want to see them give all they got into what they're doing. No distractions at all.This is why is listen to musicians like Lisa Hannigan instead. I'm not dissing Katy, we all have to do as we please, but I'm in no way a fan anymore.

agreed!all of her upbeat songs are so catchy and fun but theres just something about her slower ones..theyre just so much deeper and meaningful and you can tell how much more they mean to her when you watch her perform them :) its facinating to me lol

i agree that it would be cool if she did concerts like this still but thats just what fame does.the bigger you get,the bigger production you have to put on,its just how it goes unfortunately.i think this katy is definitely still in her,its just that her fame and popularity made her change.i think her concerts now are badass lol but its sad to say that she probably wont ever have any performances like this anymore,these types are just so chill and makes you feel more connected with the performer
