On reaching & singing high notes,I'd always amazed by Wakana,she's the best for me..In lives especially in songs like Hanataba, Signal & To The Beginning, especially TTB she sounded identical/similar to Hanae Tomaru's high notes that sounds like Yuki version of "whistling",something like that lol..I think it's falsetto,because in TTB live (Type-Moon Fes)I fairly certain it's breathy when camera focusing on her,but it's sounds too thick to be falsetto though..So maybe a mixed of falsetto&head voice?I can't tell..o_O She actually sacrificed her angelic,beautiful & powerful original tone/voice, so that she can reach those high notes though..And it's also far beyond Hikaru's high,and of course Keiko's..That Keiko's high note in Door she could just sing it in main melody,effortlessly switching it in and out of her chest voice by now..That falsetto high note in TTB I mentioned is not in this video actually,it's the one where she sing the last harmony with Hikaru (very last note) (not the last one with Keiko),she took Hanae's part..Signal's high note is the one in this video and Hanataba's when she sing harmony with Keiko in the middle of the song..urgh,I put them all in my Kalafina's best of video,if anyone interested to watch/listen to them..;)

correct me if im wrong, they are though incredibly high but arent those just falsettos?. i mean im a fan of kalafina but those high notes u indicated, they're just happen to be other than usual :3

Too bad that Hikaru only does the high notes on Hikari no Senritsu in this performance and not the recording. Yuriko Kaida from FictionJunction does it there.

@felicita fita: Yes, Wakana could sing in low notes too, I think the best she hit was in Kizuato (in contralto range lol, iirc).. I'm not sure if she still sing that low low note in their recent songs, but yeah, just to answer that question of yours.. :D

This is missing the best Kalafina high note(s) of all time: Hikaru's D#5 to C5 in Mata Kaze Ga Tsuyoku Natta (Red Moon Live), and it's not even falsetto/head voice. ("Weigh your *anchorrrrr* and *dream onnn*")

normally most of those high notes are sung in the albums by Hanae Tomaru, she sings live on the Live 9 DVD, and sung with Kalafina on the Live 10 Kaji FES, unfortunately there's no video of that epic day
