The stunning Ms. London was married to Plain Joe Jack Webb. What were they putting in the water back in the 50s?

Love Julie London - listen to her and all of a sudden you stop heading anything post 50's, and for good reason. Question though - "dine on my fine fin & haddy" - can anyone help me with this?!!

How is it possible that I have never heard about her? I am not sixteen. I am sixty four. I live in Poland, spent over 40 years behind the "Iron Curtain". Perhaps it is the reason?

@Grabbag3 For most of her recordings it was the Bobby Troup Quintent, her husband's band.

It sounds like Henry Mancini Orchestra to me. There was no credits for the backup band on the 1961 album. She recorded a version with a faster tempo with the Bud Shank in 1966 that isn't nearly as good as this version. The composer is Cole Porter.
