I gave this album a couple of listens and didn't think it was as strong as his best records ('Fried', 'Peggy Suicide' and 'Jehovahkill'...), and it isn't really, but it is decent. Every record I've heard of his I've been typically unsure of for at least a spin or two, then they rapidly expand and reveal their magic. That's amazing. This record and '20 Mothers' for instance, they're doing that now, they're expanding, but there's not as much magic about them as aforementioned best records - however, the magic cannot be denied, it is still there!10 years ago
