Genius at work. This special has got to have been astonishing. I'd always thought version of this song from TV series (used at close of American Masters) was over the moon. But here, relating to another performer as a singing actress playing a scene... good Lord! What would it have been like to see her on stage in a book musical... on Broadway?

Well, if anyone needs proof that Judy Garland has never been equalled, just watch this video. Can anyone explain the magic in her communcication? She took people outside themselves and made them feel in a way no other performer has ever done, before or since.
