I was wondering if this channel was created by Judy Collins. If not it is a wonderful tribute to a national treasure. The Rainbow Connection has been covered by many people since it's release in 1979. I Believe Judy's version is the first studio version of the track recorded after the Muppet Movie in which Kermit (Jim Henson) sings the song. An unlikely hit which went to number 25 on the billboard hot 100 in 1979. For me Judy's version is the best version of the track. Her voice has a way of taking you to many places in 3 minutes and 53 seconds. So peaceful, hopeful and full of wonder. Simply Beautiful! Everyone should hear and know this wonderful recording.

Thank you for loading this. This version of The Rainbow Connection is so poignant because of Judy Collins' crystal clear soprano. I feel like I am wrapped in a magical world and safe from harm enveloped within Judy's beautiful ethereal version of this song. She makes it her own and it is truly the best cover of RC ever in my opinion.
