Band: Judas Priest.

Album: Unleashed in the East (1979).

Song Title: Victim of Changes.

~Lyrics~

Whiskey woman don't you know that you are drivin' me insane

The liquor you give stems your will to live and gets right to my brain

Don't you know you're driving me insane

You're tryin' to find your way through life

You're tryin' to get some new direction

Another woman got her man

She won't find no new connection

Takes another drink or two, things look better when she's through

Takes another look around, you're not goin' anywhere

You've realized you're gettin' old and no one seems to care

You're tryin' to find your way again

You're tryin' to find some new...

Another woman's got her man

But she won't find a new...

Takes another drink or two, things look better when she's through

You 'bin foolin' with some hot guy

I want to know why is it why

Get up get out you know you really blew it

I've had enough, I've had enough, good God pluck me

Once she was wonderful

Once she was fine

Once she was beautiful

Once she was mine...she was mine

Now change has come over her body, she doesn't see me anymore

Now change has come over her body, she doesn't see me anymore

Changes, changes, changes, changes

Victim of changes!

R.I.P. to another longtime friend no longer a part of this earth. At the time this came out I pretty much only listened to bands like Sabbath, AC/DC, Motorhead, Kiss (Alive 1 and 2, and some of their studio recordings, but they were so much better live, and were quite restrained on their studio lp's), Ted Nugent, and a few other bands on a lesser term, and Wayne tells me I needed to check out this band Judas Priest. He said he thinks I'll love them. He was so fucking right, and by the way where I lived the record stores would for the most part just have the sleeve with the name on it, but with no records in it, and you had to special order it because they fucking hated metal. Fortunately within about 3 years a manager would take over Camelot records here who loved metal, and begin stocking metal, even lesser known bands like Demon, Venom, and even this kick your fucking ass album from some band called Metallica, named"Kill 'em All." He loved it, said I had to get it, he'd take it back if I didn't love it. I've gotten off topic, sorry, but Wayne Sprinkle had gotten a hold of Unleashed in the East, shared it with me, and I fucking loved it. I really thank him for that, I will miss him.
