Using Beethoven's most beautiful piece for this lyrics? I don't like it. I'm a Christian btw.Beethoven's 9th talks about brotherhood, unity, joy. The melody is supposed to be for all races, all religion. I'm so sorry, I don't love this "Joyful, Joyful We Adore Thee."

I was able to find it...finally. It's on the album "My Utmost for His Highest" with other artists. I found it on iTunes and it's available as a single. And OLLEnatior, you're right. Religion normally is quite pathetic. But God isn't about religion, he's about relationships. I serve a risen King, and I walk in freedom. Whether you know it or not, you are loved and treasured by your heavenly father (unlike the imperfect examples of fathers we've had on earth).

I do not like this version. Beethoven is one of my favorite composers. I do not understand why people think they can improve on what he wrote. I'm not saying that all performances have to be exactly the same, but people can at least sing the notes that Beethoven wrote.
