Journey came out in 96 and the album did very well....i think they would have stayed really popular even with all of the musical trends

And after this it was all over. Who knows what would have happened. But music was changing at this time and alternative was about to take over the airwaves.

Just wondered what happened during this tour to change how Steve felt-from wanting to be there because 'it felt good' to needing to precipitously leave. So sad that he didn't have the support or help to allow him to continue-and that the rest of the band was so selfish during Trial by Fire that they couldn't wait for the hip situation to be resolved. If they had only waited-they all lost something precious because of them forcing the issue-in the end he had his hip surgery-if only!

Excellent video and documentary! Still remember the original air on T.V. back in 1986! Yes, I was a huge Journey Fan then and still am today! Didn't know then that I would probably ever see this documentary again years later because the internet did not exist then. Sure miss that guy Stephen Ray Perry! The good news is Journey is still around today and I don't live too far from Steve Perry's home in Del Mar, Ca. Thanks again for the video! Keith Johns of Indio, Ca.

Ok this last part is really hard to watch! To think when this was done and 10 yrs or so down the road and they are no longer together! And the song WCTNGOF is such a beautiful song! But listen to this along with the last part of the interview makes you want to cry! Thanks for posting this! Wanted to see but always seem like there was some problems!
