i refer to this shit as skramz, it's the term i use to differentiate bands like this and "screamo" bands you would find at warped tour

Geniune post hardcore.. screamo is not a genre just a music slang talk

H....how?

Calling it genuine screamo works too, but that's also been made a bad word by the corporate shit and ptw type shit. Sure, there are good and bad trends within any movement, but sometimes separate bands that are "emo" or "screamo" are apples and oranges.

Okay David, I will borrow your list. Take that list.... Those and a few others are indeed hard to classify with a short microgenre like "screamo" or "emo-core." A lot of people call those bands post-hardcore or chaotic emo. even post hardcore can describe slick, overproduced shit like THE BEAUTIFUL MISTAKE or PTW clones or something. "emoviolence" used to be more narrow a field, but now a lot of people use it to describe those; even if this particular song is less chaotic, JFFB can be.

Holy shit at like 4:14 it gets insanely good. I mean the whole song is great, but 4:14 onward is crazy good.

Lmao with so much terrible music gaining more popularity than it should, wtf is the point in arguing how to classify this kind of music. Pathetic.

I'ts straight up screamo, maybe because towards the end of the song makes it feel more emo-violence like.
