Pretty sure this was a Jelly Roll Morton Song from the late 1930s not Ian Buchanan, also I'm hearing a lot of Dave Van Ronk in Jorma's playing, this song and a lot of the other old covers Hot Tuna did are similar to the arrangements of the same songs Van Ronk was doing in the early 1960's NY folk scene. One things for sure though there's no denying Jorma's talent, he's an amazing player!

Ian Buchannan started Jorma on the right path, showed him all this stuff. Jorma left out my favorite verse ...

Winin' Boy was written by Jelly Roll Morton, not by Ian Buchanan.

Aka, "Windin' Boy" written by the tragic Ian Buchannan who ran around in the early '60s in Yellow Spgs, Oh. with the likes of a Suni McGrath; Adelphi Records.

Great playing, I saw him perform this song once at McCabe's. Is that a Snark turner on his guitar head?
