Remember when I first bought it - even took it to the University library to listen to it after my studies. Had bought several copies in case I wore them out. Stood beside her at a meet and greet in Saskatoon to show off her art. Wonderful person.

l especially love this version. The way her voice duels with the electric guitar is exquisite! l've never heard anything like it, l doubt anyone has. She was a true gift to the music industry.

My favorite Joni album. Her music kept me alive in the dark times. This song just brings tears to my eyes. Thanks C for posting ; )

Nice to read your comments. I'd love to have been at this concert. When this album first came out I listened to it a lot! I do think that she knows she touched a lot of souls, but she sways away from pride and ego, so she doesn't revel in it. I hope you have gotten to watch the 104 minute interview she did on CBC TV with Jian Gomeshi, it's profoundly good. At point in the interview we learn that some girls and women consider her to be their surrogate mother... nice.

I forgot to mention, the band I saw her do The Three Great Stimulants with was the Herbie Hancock Superband. She knew how to choose her collaborators!

Nice - One of the rare times a live version leaves the studio version in the dust. That night must of been something very special. This version is magical. Pure and simple.

What a voice. How many octaves can she cross? The perfect songbird always. I never liked her till I heard Miles of Aisles then realized what a fool I had been. This band rocks too. Tight as a popcorn fart.

I saw this concert from the 6th row center. I thank God that I got to be alive to see one of the most talented humans ever to walk the earth. As she said in her song "A Case of You", "...love is touching souls ...". The beautiful irony is that she will never know how many souls She touched with her songs
