Cool performance...have to wonder how stoned that bass player was, but it was interesting nonetheless :P

she has a voice and a mind to create new understandings. some see it diff than her intention because we are observers I like the free thought range imagine on a train, shaking west, ready to get off and stand on solid ground - And Janis says - It's summertime and the fish are jumping every things good.

Worst version of this song ever, sorry to say. And I generally like Joni.

joni mitchell is a true artist... she has a gift and her voice is her instrument... and now, with her aged and smokey voice she is as wonderful as she has always been... she doesn t rely on the voice she once had... she is in an organic unity with the world and time. that s what makes her a true artist.

Feltmountain.

Laughed at her cigarette in hand. The never ever ruined her voice just gave a warming earthy quality.

I agree with you. When you hear Judy Collins voice which is almost still pristine, it makes ya kinda sad to hear Joni's voice falling apart. Smoking is BAD!!!!

OH Yeah! That's my Joni being Joni (lol, I'm claiming her as a part of myself, my history, me), voice become smokey and sultry from cigarettes. The lady is hot, hot, hot! Never heard this before. Thanks. Oh, by the way, she does a mean "Trouble Man", the Marvin Gaye song.

I love Joni Mitchell's music, but no one can touch Janis Joplin's version.
