Oh horseshit people COME ON! He's singing about becoming a pick-up artist.In the first verse he's obviously alone at a bar, rethinking women and dating and the pathetic vulnerability seemingly inherent in the exchange that goes on in dating. With every drink he downs, a little more of Mr. Nice guy dies and the slick player is born.By the second and third verse he's both reversed the emotional vulnerability in dating and moved on to pillaging women for sex to medicate his own self-hatred.One verse later he's happy that he seems to be able to get whatever he wants from women but can't help but feel like he's playing with fire.......not that he cares. At least he doesn't feel like a loser.Finally he gets shot in the back when he ripped and dipped on the wrong girl.....nobody loves you like me....

I listened to it very carefully to interperet meaning, or at least the surface meanings. Its about a depressed man whos wife wants to leave him. He doesnt care about his possesions and would just as much let her have everything. The line about, " I shouldnt stay, i think youll agree i-- in the morning ill go where youll never find me" refers to the fact that possibly her anger would be too much for either of them. He decides the next morning to let the trucks outside cover a flight or heros
