American singer/songwriter, Johnny Tillotson, charted with nine top ten hits in the early '60s, the most known being "Poetry In Motion.' In 2011, Tillotson was inducted into the Florida Artists Hall of Fame for his achivements.

Tillotson's version of the song 'Earth Angel' was released in 1960 and reached number fifty seven on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart that year.
