Yesterday was the 38th anniversary of the loss of my beloved Mom. It was a sad few days with the 13th anniversary of 9/11 here in NYC and then, I remembered all of your youtube postings of John and came here again to hear that beautiful voice. As I listen to this version I can close my eyes and be transported back to the Shenandoah Valley which I visited. Just a beautiful, moving rendition of a song that is American.
