*huge John Frusciante fan speaking*I wonder why this sing out of all his others during this era of John got the most popularity. To me it just sounds like one of his other songs in his creative spree... A melody that was composedin his head, written down, and played. Also, it was one of the only songs of his that was played on the radio. Perhaps that was a factor to its outlierish success.

Heard this song on a sports radio show years ago and spent that much time looking for it. So I downloaded a song finder app and hummed it as best I could and HOLY SHIT I FOUND IT!!!!!! Spent 3 years trying to type out the melody somehow on Google hoping some one was as dumb as me lmao but 2 minutes to download and hum the song on an app and here I am!!!! Now to illegally pirate the song off the Internet and my day is complete!!!!!!....besides the 9 hours of work left to do.

i wish i could think WOW to this since john is my favourite guitarist of all time but tbh i listen to it and it just doesn't flick that switch that his guitar playing for RHCP did.he will always b an amazing musician this just isn't nearly as gd as the work he did with the chilies it is a moving song tho

I don't mind that he has a small crowd along his solo work, it gets more personal and a bigger feeling to it when the few of us that like his music comment about how we feel when we listen to it and all. Instead of overrated populare "music" where people only comments on their looks, the half naked girls in the music videos and stuff like that.I'm glad that people like John and his fans excist, people that care to put their time and energy into this type of music

You're all wrong, men.And you don't even understand music. We have to LEARN to listen to music, and not just hear it.It's not about technique or being fast.I discovered John in the Peppers, but i knew him and discovred him in his solo during the lives (peppers are much better in live, by the way).Then i took a look to what John did in solo.Even tho i LOVE rhcp, i'm much more a fan of Frusciante.Frusciante is a true artist, it's all about heart and feelings. He's not gonna play fast or technically for no reason.I don't love an artist for his technique or because his music is complicated.I love an artist for the feelings he gives.Frusciante is an amazing artist, for sure, he's not understood for many.
