My brother, Dan Hedlund, loved to fish, hunt and trap. It was never too hot or too cold to get out into nature. We lost Dan to a heart attack in February 2009. When I went back to Nebraska for his funeral, I spent hours pouring over his photo albums and scanning only a portion of the photos he took. He was quite the photographer and writer. He was a wonderful son, loving husband and a great dad to 4 wonderful teenagers. He was a loyal friend and a one of a kind brother. This video is in honor of Dan and created with love for all of those who miss him dearly.

John wrote this shortly after his father died. Lost my father in May 2012 he was a paul bearer at John father "Dutch's" funeral, they played golf together many,many times. I miss them both.

I was looking for this song, because tomorrow is the 19th anniversary of the passing of my mother. I too had a brother just like yours, who loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing. We called him Buddy, and he was 10 years older than me. He passed on June 10, 2004 suddenly of a heart attack at the age of 62. He was deep sea fishing just a few days before he passed. Such a gift has been given, it can never be taken away. Thank you for this video! God Bless
