John is about the best country artist out there in my opinion. His voice has a tone you don't hear in today's country singers. It's so powerful and distinctive. Just saw him tonight in Greenwood, SC with Brit Jones and it was amazing. He sung with his wife of 25 years and their youngest son Caelan was on drums. Talked with him after the show and got that signed CD.

Great song written by Jason Blume and AJ Masters, you should credit the songwriters in videos, I remember this song when they wrote it before it was recorded (and messed up) by the Oak Ridge Boys and then recorded by John Berry!

Hey everyone, he's still out there. You just need to go to his official website to get the concert dates. He still does some large venues but he's doing a lot of smaller ones. I think he prefers that. Just saw him in December 2011 in Jeffersonville, IN. Amazing up close and personal venue. My husband and I even had a private 10 min conversation with him before the show. He's an amazing artist and an even more amazing and giving person.

I remember him opening for Clint Black. Clint put on a great show with laser lights and dancehall songs and lots of running around. But his opener put him to shame. John Berry came out with a single spotlight and a guitar. His voice carried all the way to the back. He just walked up to the front of the stage and sat down with his legs over the edge of it and played the best stripped down set of any country artist I'd ever seen. Still in my 10 ten sets ever.

Why did he disappear from the radio along with all the real country vocalists from the 80's and 90's? Now we have all this stuff that sounds like pop and is auto tuned with singers that can't hold it live. I miss real country. I miss real vocalists like this. Passion in their voices. Techniques to their talent. Come back John! Play him radio!
